A floor standing INKLE Loom, to weave strips of fabric up to 6" wide and 16 feet long. Designed for continuous string heddles which are made in minutes. The heddle length is adjustable by turning the heddle carrier. The weaving is swift, quiet and colorful. Useful articles, such as belts, ties guitar straps, tray-holders, etc., can be completed in an hour's weaving time. Strips can be joined for cushions, wall-hangings, ect. The CENDREL can be converted to an efficient warping frame with the supplied warping pegs. It then becomes one of the basic tools for any weaving. The CENDREL can wind a warp up to 10 yds. New 1999 version: Is assembled with carriage bolts for sturdy construction; A longer base board with non-skid base for better stability; All pegs are installed with wing nuts enabling fast, easy changes.

A small table loom for introduction to hand-weaving. This loom can make beautiful material with matched colours and assortment of different yarns in the weft. It weaves plain weave fabrics. With pick-up stick, it is also possible to make many different designs in your weaving and it can also be used to do small tapestry or wall hangings. Made with rigid heddle and 2 beams, it allows to warp and weave many yards of material up to 24" (60cm) wide. When the warp threads are inserted in the holes and slots of the rigid heddle the action of raising and lowering it, gives a good shed to throw the flat shuttle. The beating can be done with the plastic rigid heddle or with the edge of the flat shuttle. This loom is not a toy. It is a real beginner's loom, and is ideal for youngsters who want to learn weaving.
